Entecon designs and manufactures bespoke ATEX and DSEAR compliant powder handling systems for applications where combustible dusts and explosive atmospheres present safety and operational risks.

Systems are engineered around the customer's material, process, hazardous-area classification and risk assessment. Entecon's design approach includes continuous earthing and effective earth bonding for electrostatic dissipation, controlled mechanical clearances to reduce friction and ignition risks, dust containment and the correct selection of certified equipment for the required ATEX zones.

Typical solutions use ATEX Category 2D equipment for Zone 21 and Category 3D equipment for Zone 22 where appropriate. Entecon works with TÜV as a Notified Body and designs in accordance with relevant EN 60079 standards and customer-specific risk assessments, with the required documentation and certification supplied for each installation.
