ENA EREC G5/5 sets the design limits for harmonic voltage levels on the electrical network, replacing the older G5/4-1 guidelines that had been in place since 2001. Any new or additional load has to be assessed against these limits before a network operator will approve the connection, and some loads need harmonic mitigation such as active filtration before they pass.
