Cetronic supply high quality silent diesel generators, built for longevity and a wide range of standby and prime power applications. Unlike a UPS, which relies on batteries, flywheels or super capacitors for a limited backup window, a diesel generator keeps running for as long as it has fuel. That makes it the natural choice for reserve and emergency power where a cut could last hours rather than minutes. Fitted with an auto-start or changeover panel, a generator senses a power failure and takes over within roughly 20 to 30 seconds, with a UPS bridging the gap in between. It can also supply the input power a UPS needs and keep air conditioning running to protect equipment from overheating. Every generator can be fitted with an acoustic canopy, reducing noise to between 58dB and 63dB at 7 metres, useful where neighbouring businesses, residents or patients are nearby. Other options include lift-off doors for tight spaces, and keystart, remote or automatic start control panels.
