Be responsible for quoting nominated key accounts in the Process Industry Division accurately and professionally within an agreed time frame.
Promote a friendly, professional and helpful response to enquiries and respond within the time frame set in the WIKA Sales Charter.
Negotiate suitable purchase pricing and delivery times to maximise margin and meet customer expectations to win new business. Keep all negotiation records on ERP/CRM and ensure they are communicated with the CSR team at order handover stage.
Proactively communicate all new enquiries with the Department Manager.
Demonstrate proactive communication to customers and external sales team especially when they are taking enquiries and following up quotations to ensure all opportunities are being capitalised on.
Proactively work with the product management team to retain all current business and win new business, ensuring communication is clear and recorded within the Axapta system.
Ensure quotes are followed up within an agreed time frame and logged on the Axapta system in line with the company standard operating procedures.
Ensure that the standard operating procedures for all sales processes are adhered to. Constantly monitor and interrogate the system to ensure high performance level of the internal sales team.
Drive high performance by acting as a day-to-day supervisor, ensuring the team have a do it right first time attitude.
Demonstrate leadership skills to take ownership of issues and only escalate when necessary.
Actively contribute to the company 5S culture and ensure the department environment is organised, clean and tidy.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement process.
Work with the Internal Sales Manager on the other projects and assignments where appropriate.
