It has even been used as a temporary surface protection to cushion and protect surfaces from the pressure of outriggers on cranes, due to its ability to support great downforce!Compared with other commonly-used polyurethane foams, Polylam® is a great environmentally-friendly alternative. This is because the non-cross-linked cell structure is easily recycled back to a raw material, being 100% recyclable, and is CFC-free. It is inert, has no odour, and is not absorbent, so it excels in almost any environment, both damp and dry. Importantly, given the many uses found for Polylam®, it is also non-abrasive, so won’t scratch surfaces.Used in conjunction with corrugated carboard boxes or timber crates, the smallest and the largest goods can be shipped safely with Polylam®.
