Sterling-SIHI (UK) have been providing liquid and vacuum pumping solutions for almost 100 years, and are seeking to strengthen the existing field-based Engineer-centric sales team.

The role is designed to reflect best-in-class customer support where the client base is engineering centric seeking local solutions to everyday challenges:
- Customer Liaison & communication
- Following-up quotations
- Facilitating existing clients
- Providing technical assistance
- Generation sales leads
- Order & Contract negotiation
- Developing oneself technically
- Home-based (as above territory)
Basic salary between £22,500 and £35,000 depending upon skills and experience along with a circa. 40% on-top performance related bonus scheme.
Additionally, a healthy pension contribution, and a good level of family-sized Company car is included.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our position within the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and other industrial markets.
- HNC / Degree in engineering
- Well organised
- Good communication skills
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Determined to complete tasks
- Ability to write technical prescriptions
- Und erstanding of various pump types would be
an Advantage
The ideal candidate will have a keen technical mind with a desire to further strengthen in a diverse engineering and commercial environment.
Importantly, training & development is a prerequisite within Sterling-SIHI and there will always be high(er)-level support and mentoring available.
