Coriolis flow meters are a type of direct mass measurement device. As such, Coriolis meters will not be affected by GVF in the same way that other flow technologies are. In the presence of entrained gas, Coriolis meters can overstate the desired liquid mass by only the mass of entrained gas, which is commonly inconsequential.
