Eriez will highlight its advanced inspection technologies at PACK EXPO International 2026, taking place from 18 to 21 October at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Visitors to Booth S-3954 in the South Hall will be able to see live equipment demonstrations and speak with product specialists about contaminant detection, product quality and production efficiency.

Featured technologies will include the PrecisionGuard™ X8 Metal Detector, the new X8-SF Simultaneous Frequency Metal Detector, the SenseGuard™ X-ray Inspection System and an Eriez Recirculating Inspection System.

PrecisionGuard™ X8 Metal Detector

The PrecisionGuard X8 Metal Detector combines high sensitivity with straightforward operation to detect ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel contaminants.

Its large touchscreen interface, automated product learning and integrated data-capture capabilities help simplify operation and reporting, while its robust design makes it suitable for demanding food processing environments.

The X8 is available as a standalone detector or as part of a conveyorised inspection system.

X8-SF Simultaneous Frequency Metal Detector

The X8-SF expands the PrecisionGuard X8 platform with simultaneous frequency technology that inspects products across multiple frequencies at the same time.

It is designed for wet, salty and conductive food products that can be difficult for conventional metal detectors to inspect accurately.

The X8-SF also features robust construction, an easy-to-use touchscreen interface and integrated data-capture capabilities.

SenseGuard™ X-ray Inspection System

The SenseGuard X-ray Inspection System is designed to detect contaminants, foreign objects and irregularities such as glass, stone, bone and dense plastic materials within product lines.

X-ray systems can inspect incoming material feeds as well as products that have already been packaged, helping support quality control throughout the downstream process.

Eriez Recirculating Inspection System

Visitors will also be able to see the Eriez Recirculating Inspection System in operation.

Using vibratory feeders connected to metal detectors in a continuous loop, the system demonstrates how processors can use Eriez equipment to verify inspection results, manage rejected products and maintain throughput without interrupting production.
