Eriez has appointed Drew Hobert as Global Mining Sales Director, strengthening its leadership team across the global mining and minerals processing industry.

Hobert has spent 12 years with Eriez, building broad experience across several areas of the business.

During that time, he has held roles in engineering, operations, technical services and business development, giving him a strong understanding of Eriez customers, products and market position.

His experience also gives him insight into the commercial and technical factors that influence customer requirements.

In his new role, Hobert will help direct and coordinate Eriez’ mining sales activities.

His responsibilities will include supporting global sales strategy, driving regional alignment, engaging with key customers, overseeing forecasting and pipeline development, and expanding opportunities across capital equipment, aftermarket and service offerings.

Hobert holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, also known as Virginia Tech.

His academic background, combined with his cross-functional experience and technical knowledge, positions him to support the continued alignment and expansion of Eriez’ mining operations worldwide.
