Following successful laboratory trials of its HydroFloat® coarse particle flotation (CPF) technology, Eriez has completed a large-scale pilot in Chile which confirmed significant field improvements consistent with lab performance. This demonstrates the technology’s ability to scale effectively and enhance coarse particle recovery in full-scale industrial operations.

In parallel, Eriez carried out a hydrodynamic measurement campaign with a major Chilean miner, focusing on critical variables such as bubble size (D₃₂) and superficial gas velocity (Jg). These studies reaffirm Eriez’ technical expertise and ongoing commitment to advancing mineral processing through applied research and technology transfer.

Several of Chile’s leading mining companies are now actively evaluating HydroFloat CPF as part of their development and expansion strategies, reflecting growing confidence in the technology’s potential to deliver stronger in-field results and improve the competitiveness of the national industry.

Eriez has also successfully implemented its SlamJet® sparging systems in local leaching applications, achieving measurable improvements in performance and reliability.
