Glass Molding Machinery Shock Absorbers

The WM-EG and WM-SG shock absorber series are used on glass molding/forming machines. They are positioned above the eject mechanism where they act as shock absorbers via toothed racks softening the movement of the collet arm and preventing damage to the still red-glowing bottles. To deal with this harsh working application, these shock absorbers were specially developed to withstand high temperatures and have corrosion resistant body protection to suit their environment. The WM-EG series the degree of damping can be adjusted to suit different applications or machines via an adjustment screw. The series WM-SG is self-compensating.
