Scaffold Inspection is a CSS Worksafe training course developed to improve knowledge, competence and safer working practices.

Aims & Objectives: To enable the delegates to be fully aware of the different types of scaffold, their uses and construction, faults most commonly encountered and to carry out the statutory inspection and completion of reports.

Suitability: All personnel.

Requirements: Students should be physically fit.

Syllabus: Covering Component terminology and positioning. Ties, Loading and Sheeting. Safe use of ladders in the above.

Safe use of fall arrest equipment (SG4: 15) during scaffolding erection Statutory inspection and completion of registers. Notes. Fully Comprehensive notes will be given to all delegates who attend the course.

Certification: On satisfactory completion of the course a certificate of competence will be issued that will be valid for 3 years.
