Description. Compact energy absorber ABSORBICA is a compact energy absorber designed to be used in combination with a JANE lanyard to make a fall-arrest lanyard. Very compact, it minimizes bulk on the harness. Equipped with tear-webbing inside an openable pouch, the absorber is protected from abrasion while allowing for regular inspection. Designed to be used in combination with a JANE-I or JANE-Y lanyard to make a fall-arrest lanyard with a maximum length of two meters. Absorbs energy in the event of a fall: Progressive tearing of the energy absorber webbing limits the impact force on the user.

Works with users who weigh between 60 and 140 kg. Minimal bulk: very compact design doesn't hinder the user during progression. Durable fabric pouch with a simple opening system protects the energy absorber from abrasion or contaminants while allowing for regular inspection of the absorber.

Two options for installation on the harness, depending on use: Frequent connection/disconnection: using either a carabiner held in the correct position by the STRING accessory (included with the absorber), or a MICRO SWIVEL to avoid tangling. Semi-permanent connection: with a RING OPEN gated ring, whose circular shape allows optimal positioning, or a SWIVEL OPEN to avoid tangling.
