Fire Marshall / Warden
Fire Marshall / Warden is a CSS Worksafe training course developed to improve knowledge, competence and safer working practices.
Aims & Objectives: This course concentrates on ensuring that employees have the necessary information required to enable them to raise the alarm, evacuate the building, know the different types of extinguisher, check and area and communicate with those in charge. The course will give delegates the ability to identify fire hazards, take charge in the event of a fire and understand the need for fire precautions.
Suitability: All personnel.
Requirements: Students should be physically fit.
Syllabus: Role of the Fire Marshal / Fire Warden. Dangers of fire. Causes of fire.
Use of fire extinguishers - Theory or Practical. Fire door technology. Fire safety checks. Basic fire risk.
Assessment: Fire alarm systems. People. Evacuation of buildings.
Evacuation systems. Notes. Fully Comprehensive
Certification: On satisfactory completion of the course a certificate of competence will be issued that will be valid for 3 years.
