Ammonia Management

Ammonia Management is a CSS Worksafe training course developed to improve knowledge, competence and safer working practices.


Aims & Objectives: The Course is designed for managers & supervisors on how to best to manage Ammonia within Buildings and how this relates to employees who work in such environments.


Suitability: All personnel.


Requirements: Students should be physically fit.


Syllabus: The hazards of ammonia. The risks from ammonia refrigeration systems. Managing risks. Identifying the risks and measures required. Modification and repair. Safe operating limits. Maintenance. Examination Emergency arrangements.


Environmental regulations. Organisation of the measures. Appointment of competent assistance. Co-ordination. Communication and records. Competence. Controlling the measures. Monitoring and reviewing the measures. Notes. Fully Comprehensive notes will be given to all delegates who attend the course.


Certi

fication: On satisfactory completion of the course a certificate of competence will be issued that will be valid for 3 years.
