Precision CNC Machining
Our comprehensive Precision Engineering service has been developed over 26 years in business and 45 years in associated industry. Highly skilled experienced engineers and designers get involved with a variety of projects spanning a broad industry sector. They are always focused on achieving a cost effective solution from Prototype to Low Batch Quantity and Full Production manufacturing all supplied complete to drawing. We supply precision components to many different markets - military, aerospace, electronic, defence, automotive are just a few!
Design
From the very beginning, our technical staff provide help and guidance on the design of components, the proposed material and the finish of the component. We will always look to reduce costs where possible, adding value for our customers.
Tolerances
Our general tolerance is ±0.1mm but we regularly work to the nearest micron.
Lead Time
With large capacity comes short lead times. We are often delivering finished components in medium batch quantities to our customer within 2 weeks of receiving the drawings. We are customer orientated and our aim is to deliver the finished components in schedule with your requirements.
Materials
We machine components in a wide variety of materials, both ferrous and non ferrous. Aluminium is the most common but we regularly machine brass, stainless steel, nylon, delrin and acetal (just to name a few).
Finishes
We supply your components complete to drawing. We offer surface finishes to satisfy your requirements. These include wet paint, powder coating, alochroming, anodising, plating and more. We also offer heat treatment for your components. Please send us your requirements and we will get back to you shortly.
Inspection & Quality
Quality is monitored throughout the manufacturing process. Components are inspected individually to ensure they match the drawing. We are dedicated to quality control - as specified in our QA manual. We are proud to be an ISO 9001:2008 registered company. This level of quality ensures consistently high standards are met.
Communication
We can accept design briefs via email, PDF, DXF and CD ROM. Ideally, information should be in 3D solid model formulated IGES backed up by 2D. Machining Programme will be generated directly from 2D DXF files supported by 3D IGES files and 2D PDF. Please email your enquiries to: info@castech.co.uk
We look forward to hearing from you.
