BGB Rallies Behind Rainbow Hospice: A Small Act, A Big Difference

15-08-2025

Last week we had the privilege of welcoming Kirsty from Rainbow Hospice in Nottingham, and within minutes it was clear her work is nothing short of extraordinary.

Kirsty and her dedicated team care for children with end-of-life needs, offering comfort, dignity, and support when families need it most. Hearing about their mission first-hand was deeply moving and inspired us to act.

Our first step: the BGB pre-loved donation bin

In the coming days, a new pre-loved clothing donation bin will appear at BGB’s Dysart Road site. Here’s how it works:

  • Drop in any clothes you no longer wear.

  • Rainbow Hospice will sell them through their shops.

  • 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the hospice, funding vital care for children and families.

It’s a simple gesture, but together we can make a difference. That jumper you never wear could help fund a nurse’s visit. Those shoes at the back of your cupboard could bring comfort to a child and their loved ones.

Let’s fill the bin and show our support—because for families facing the hardest days, a small act could mean the world.

Drop-off location: BGB, 357 Dysart Road, Grantham
Benefiting: Rainbow Hospice, Nottingham
